Ladera Ranch is a beautifully master-planned community stretching over 4,000 acres, found adjacent to Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, and San Juan Capistrano. Located in South Orange County, California, Ladera Ranch was founded in 1999 and divided into nine divisions, better known as "villages." These nine villages include:

Of the nine villages, five have carefully thought-out and planned clubhouses with a different architectural inspirations that can be found within the village itself. Playgrounds, parks, and pools can all be found within each of the nine villages. Covenant Hills is the only village that is gate-guarded and not accessible to the general public, however, Ladera Ranch residents are permitted with their all-card resident pass. In addition the nine clubhouse, this beautiful family oriented community boasts a private water and skate park, eighteen community parks, dog park, six smaller neighborhood pools, pocket parks, green belts, shopping districts, and miles of hiking / biking trails that connect to Doheny Beach.
Capistrano School District serves as the community's education district. Located inside of the Ladera Ranch School is a branch of the Orange County Public Library. There are private schools available within a short distance to Ladera Ranch and Soka University of America not far as well.
